 Dr. Eddy Schipper works as an Investment Manager and advisor HighTech for Netherlands Enterprise Agency, an Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands. He is involved in supporting R&D in the field of High-Tech Systems and Materials (finance, contacts). He is the national contact for Photonics/Opto-Electronics. Other focus areas are sensing/ mechatronic, semicon and nanotechnology. 

He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Twente a Msc Physics from the Univerisity of Twente and a PdEng in optics. He is always looking into the possibilities for international research collaboration. 

Prof. Sheng-Lung Huang received the B.S. degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA. His research interest is on crystalline fiber based devices and biomedical imaging applications. He joined the Graduate Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics (GIPO) and Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University in 2006. He served as the Chairman of GIPO from 2007 to 2010. He was also a guest professor at the Abbe School of Photonics, Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena, Germany, 2014. He served as Chairman of IEEE Photonics Society Taipei Chapter, 2005/2006. Dr. Huang has received the Outstanding Research Award from the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the University/Industry Cooperation Award from the Ministry of Education. He has also jointly awarded Chimei Innovation Excellence Award and Optical Communications Elite Award. He is a Fellow of the OSA.

Prof. Tien-Tsorng Shih was born in Taiwan in 1965. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1986 and 1991, respectively. In 1991, he joined Telecommunication Laboratories, Taiwan, as a research associate.  From 1996 to 2000, he was a project manager at Chunghwa Telecommunication Laboratories, Taiwan.  In 2000, he founded Infomax Optical Technology Corporation and was the CEO during 2000 to 2003. He is now a distinguished professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering and the dean of College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan.

     His main research interests include the high speed printed circuit board design, optical transceiver, theoretical study of optical waveguides and III-V optoelectronic devices, fabrication of laser diodes and photodiodes, packaging technology for optoelectronic devices, and transmission technologies for the fiber optics communication applications. Currently, he dedicates on the technology of silicon photonics devices and modules.

Arne Leinse Ph.D. [M] (Chief Executive Officer) is active in integrated optics for more than 15 years. He received a PhD degree from the University of Twente in the integrated Optical Microsystems group in 2005. Hereafter he joined LioniX BV where he was involved in the invention and development of the TriPleX™ platform from the beginning. He has been involved from the original concept until the exploitation and (co)authored over 100 articles in the last years. He has been active as Vice-President of LioniX BV in the last years and since the establishment of LioniX-international in 2016 active in the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Since January 2020 Arne is active in the role of CEO, leading the Management Team

Harald Graber is Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at EFFECT Photonics. He oversees global sales, business development, Marketing and Product Management. 

 Mr. Graber is a firm executive with more than 20 years experience in the High-Tech Industry. He has lived and worked at several Tier 1 companies in the United States, Europe and Asia.

Prior to EFFECT Photonics, Mr. Graber served in a variety of senior roles in Sales, Marketing, Product Management & R&D at BWI, Coriant, Nokia Siemens Networks, Alcatel-Lucent and Lucent Technologies.

Mr. Graber graduated at the University of Applied Science, Munich/Germany in Electrical Engineering/ Telecommunications. He also holds an Executive-MBA from the Northwestern-Kellogg School of Management /USA and the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management /Germany. 

Mr. Graber has issued several publications in the Bell Labs Technical Journal and also a published a book on Strategic Alliances.
